Hey, My Name is Aaron Paul Bell and I’ve been an active graphic designer for the past nine years. Starting with an Internet-based intern opportunity in 2014 for a non-profit organization, I gained enough experience to apply for a design position at a local sign shop. I then worked for the next five years as a designer and print manager for Instant Signs Company. After graduating from Columbus State, I worked towards my bachelor’s degree at Columbus College of Art & Design. While attending school I interned at a way-finding company named PLANIT for 8 months, working with hospital signage for OSU James Medical Center and Premier Health. Following my graduation from CCAD, I worked as a full-time intern for a design firm, Holden Ellis, as a Jr Designer and Copywriter. I joined Kreber in November 2021 as a designer, working on brand development for clients and creating assets for HON. I design campaigns, storyboards, and package designs. My branding and design skills earned me a role as a key designer for an internal brand refresh project.
In my time as a designer, I’ve worked with such brands as Bridge Park, HON, Scotts Lawn Care, Melting Pot, Club Car, Lineage Brewery, SafeRingz, Hexion, and E & J Gallo. (E & J Gallo was a sponsored student project). Some of my design experience has been in creating digital content for Bridge Park’s social media community feed and shopping area. I’ve also created website layouts in Adobe XD and Figma, animated logos and image masking in After Effects, and used Illustrator to make high-level brand imagery.
This is who I am — a dedicated, hardworking, Swiss Army knife, who is eager to learn and ready for more challenges.
In my short experience, I have learned the importance of the design process and the value of critiques. I’ve also taken the time to learn beyond the Adobe suite of programs, working with Figma to develop functioning wireframes, and building in SketchUp to make small 3D models. What fuels my creativity and eagerness to grow, is my dedication to curiosity. I’m a craftsman, learning new tools, asking questions, and experimenting with design is how I tell stories.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
